Aldani Grappling Gun

Kind: Gear / Aldani device Status: Held by Isilrod Gurglestrom; one cartridge

A grappling-hook launcher of Aldani make, recovered from a kobold inventor while the party looted the fortified chamber in Wyrmheart Mine during Session 14.

The weapon has one cartridge. The party does not know how to manufacture a replacement, making the remaining shot a limited resource.

Session 17

Isilrod proposed using the gun to escape the zombie tyrannosaur’s tail, then withdrew the attempt after discussion of its one-use cartridge. He took the tail strike. The DM had initially narrated expenditure before the retraction; the final cartridge disposition is unresolved. Do not silently mark it either spent or replenished.
