Van Cleavee
The Aldani village chef, who also administers the claw-ownership trial. The DM confirmed after Session 17 that he is both the missing chef Summer reported and the absent ritual administrator; the transcript rendered his name as Van Cleef.
He disappeared roughly three weeks before the party arrived. His son brought the preparations for Bonzo’s trial of one hundred aged monkfish in his place. The cause of his disappearance, and any link to the village blight, is not established.
