Role: Stout gnome bard in a many-pocketed yellow vest; “always singing about happiness” Status: Alive — Night Song competitor; flagged as a Symposium suspect

A cheerful gnome bard and author (wrote the murder mystery “Booze Blind”). Mid-set he dropped a crowd-pleaser to play “The Watcher,” an ancestral ballad about a Lich Lord casting a withering land-curse, which lands uncomfortably close to Chult’s own death curse.

A Baldur’s Gate newspaper photo shows Gus duetting with Jacques LaFleur about five years ago (with Throbbin kissing Vesper in the background), tying him to the LaFleur lead. The casino monkeys reportedly like Gus best, raising the possibility of vote-rigging in his favor. He flinched when Isilrod baited “Symposium,” so he is a suspect in the framing thread.
