When the party first met him, Watto said an unknown force was stealing his gladiators nightly. He promised that if the party helped him, his gladiators would fight alongside them when called.
Watto, Jabari Muktow, and Artus Cimber were childhood best friends. Watto later learned of Jabari’s betrayal and began planning a raid on Jabari’s villa. Session 15 placed the party roughly halfway through the original one-month clock, though the exact campaign calendar remains unresolved. LeGrand frames the coming conflict as princes vs. gladiators and is searching for Artus so he can join Watto’s side.
