Artus Cimber
Role: Veiled Quill contact / jungle lead Status: Ally / informant
Veiled Quill contact tied to Xibalba’s secrets. A black-cloaked Thieves Guild contact told Bodius Tea that Artus was deep in the Chultan jungle and had intel about all secrets in Xibalba. The Veiled Quill specializes in planar and magical artifacts — directly relevant to Bodius’s background and the mystery around his family’s destruction.
According to Volothamp Geddarm, Artus Cimber is the only person Volo has ever heard of receiving an invitation to Midsommer’s Night Song.
New 2026-04-28 context from LeGrand: Artus has the Ring of Winter, which could turn the tide in Watto’s planned raid on Jabari Muktow’s villa. Artus has been traveling in the jungle for about 6 months and needs to be found.
Session 15 confirmed that LeGrand is actively searching for Artus. If the party reaches Artus first, it must tell him that Jabari betrayed Watto and recruit him for the coming fight.
