Legrand
Role: Fixer / gambler / ex-gladiator Status: Ally (conditional)
Bulky ex-gladiator with Chultan underworld ties. Big sassy guy that gambles at the arena/colosseum in Xibalba. Knows a good carpenter, Lazlo Toth. Knows Oliver Watto.
Bonzo wrestled Legrand aboard the Brazen Pegasus and lost firmly, but earned Legrand’s respect in the process.
Deal: Fight in the gladiator ring for Watto tonight → Legrand helps the party invade the Biskarr compound. See Active Side Quests.
2026-04-28 Briefing
Legrand returned to the ship and briefed the party: in one month, Watto plans to raid Jabari Muktow’s villa, one of the highest-security places in Xibalba. Watto has heard of Jabari’s betrayal and wants Jabari removed. Legrand framed the coming conflict as princes vs. gladiators.
The raid is delayed for one month so Artus Cimber can be found. Artus has the Ring of Winter, which could turn the tide. Artus has been traveling in the jungle for about 6 months. Legrand is heading out solo to find him.
Session 15 Confirmation
The Session 15 table recap confirmed that the party had already warned LeGrand about Jabari’s threat before departing Xibalba, completing Warn LeGrand. LeGrand is searching the jungle for Artus. If the party finds Artus first, it must tell him that Jabari betrayed Watto and recruit him for the coming fight.
