Anthe Grackles
Role: Earlier Chult expedition member; Jacques LaFleur’s captured companion Status: Captive, likely held at Shadowfang Keep; Syndra had presumed the expedition dead
Member of the earlier legendary party that Syndra Sylvane and Throbbin Mistwillow sent into the Chultan jungle to investigate the Death Curse.
Later transcripts and notes repeatedly point to someone rendered as Grackles being connected to Jacques LaFleur and Shadowfang Keep. The DM has confirmed that Anthe Grackles is LaFleur’s captured companion. Shadowfang Keep is the likely place Anthe is being held; the DM phrased that location as likely, not certain.
Session 13 again describes the Shadowfang captive as LaFleur’s former party member, consistent with the DM’s confirmation.
The Session 15 table recap again identifies the captive as “Grackles” and places LaFleur at an Aldani village waiting to raid Shadowfang Keep with the party. The rescue has not launched.
