Shago’s Idol & the Basin

Objective
Per the note recovered off Shago: deliver the golden idol after the Night Song, then head south to the Basin and intercept “Grackles and LaFleur” before they ruin something.
Session 12 changed the shape of the lead. Jacques LaFleur is alive, was disguised as Isolde the Moth, returned the idol, and asked the party to help recover his captured companion at Shadowfang Keep.

- Note and three-point map recovered from Shago after the temple fight.
- Lilith claims she did not know the Symposium and understood only that Shago wanted the idol for a bard-linked payment.
- Idol was stolen during the Session 12 afterparty panic, then returned by LaFleur.
- Session 13: LaFleur and Summer continued toward Shadowfang Keep while the player party diverted into Wyrmheart Mine. The rescue and dragon leads are now proceeding on separate routes.
- The idol can reveal death-curse affliction; its red eyes showed the whole party is now cursed.
- Session 11: Raif Bright-fin independently plans to go to the Basin to meet the Aldani, hinting the Basin is amphibious/Aldani country.
