Siegfried

Role: Young red dragon / lair lord Status: Dead Location: Wyrmheart Mine

Siegfried was the young red dragon living beneath Wyrmheart Mine. The Deepgram and Google Recorder transcripts independently repeat Siegfried, resolving Session 13’s Seafred uncertainty. Other aliases above preserve ASR evidence; he is not Sebulba, the Port Xibalba gnome, and is not the old Sigred grave marker.

In Session 14, the party found Siegfried sleeping beneath his hoard. He woke calling for an elderly kobold named Quigley, saw through Clarky’s deception, demanded 5,000 gp, and attacked.

The party controlled the fight with Isilrod’s Stinking Cloud and Dissonant Whispers, Faf’s Topple and Unwavering Mark, and a recovered dragon trap that disabled one claw. Siegfried knocked Faf unconscious with his second fire breath. Isilrod killed him with a final long-range Dissonant Whispers.

Bonzo harvested the dragon heart and red-dragon milk. The party remembered only afterward that Siegfried might know the death curse’s location, and nobody could speak with the dead.
